$1,000+ Club Giveaway

The Hopout Club Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is open to all student organizations at Plymouth State University (“PSU”), including recognized clubs and informal groups of students who identify themselves as a student organization. For the purposes of these rules:

• The term “club” is synonymous with “student organization”, meaning any group of PSU students, regardless of whether they have an official Organization Account on Hopout.
   
• Groups without an Organization Account may still be eligible if they have identified themselves to the Hopout team prior to the drawing.
   
• Hopout reserves the right to verify eligibility of any club or student organization at its sole discretion.
   

No purchase necessary to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law.

• Every hopout counts as an entry. Each time a student hops out to one of your club’s events, your organization earns a chance to win.
   
• Only real participation counts. Students must genuinely attend the plan they hop out to. Fake hopouts, fabricated plans, or entries made without the intent of real participation are not eligible.
   
• No fake accounts. Each student may only use one Hopout account tied to their PSU identity. Accounts created solely to generate entries, or accounts that appear fraudulent, may be disqualified.
   
• Timing matters. Hopouts must be made prior to the official start time of the event to be considered valid entries.
   
• Event authenticity. Events must represent genuine student gatherings. Duplicate, spam, or low-effort events created solely to increase entries may be disqualified at Hopout’s discretion.
   
• System of record. Only hopouts recorded within the Hopout app during the Giveaway period will be considered valid entries.
   
• PSU policies apply. Clubs are responsible for ensuring their events comply with Plymouth State University’s student organization and campus policies.
   
• Disqualification at discretion. Hopout LLC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any club or entry if it suspects fraud, abuse, or actions inconsistent with the spirit of the Giveaway.
   

• At the end of each Giveaway round, winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries.
   
• The total prize pool for each round is $1,000, split evenly among the winners.
  
  
  • Example: Two winning clubs = $500 each; three winners = about $333 each, etc.
     
• There will be at least two winning clubs per round.
   
• Winners will be contacted privately through Hopout’s in-app messaging system or by PSU email.
   
• Winners must respond within 48 hours of notification. If a winner does not respond, an alternate may be selected.
   

• The Giveaway is not a one-time event. Future rounds will be announced, each with a $1,000 prize pool.
   
• All hopouts created during each round count as entries, so the sooner your club joins hopout and starts posting plans, the more chances you’ll accumulate over time.
   

• Prizes will be distributed via check, Venmo, PayPal, or another method at Hopout’s discretion.
   
• Winners are responsible for providing accurate payment or delivery information within 48 hours of notification.
   
• If a winner declines a prize, fails to respond, or fails to claim the prize, an alternate may be selected.
   

Winners are solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes associated with their prize.

By entering the Giveaway, clubs agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Hopout, which are final and binding.

Hopout reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Giveaway at any time if, in its sole discretion, it determines that fraud, technical issues, or other factors have compromised the integrity or proper functioning of the promotion.

Hopout reserves the right to disqualify any club it finds to be tampering with the entry process or otherwise violating the spirit of the Giveaway.
